Our commitment to quality

3D printing for manufacturing rather than prototyping is a field that is still in development, but we feel there are certain best-practices that mean our products maintain the highest standards of quality. As with most things, a lot of this comes down to practice and experimentation.

We test-print all models from our partnered designers, as we are avid gamers as well! In some cases, we find that our custom supports leave less cleanup than the pre-packaged pre-support options. This is due to the differing settings on printers and the different tolerances of various resins. We have been using a blend of various resin types that allows us to make a navy-gray toned final product with more flexibility than is expected of even cast resin products, without compromising on details. In fact, if you check out our gallery, you will see just how well you can see every detail on our products, as soon as they have been cleaned!

Speaking of cleaning, all our products are double-washed in isopropyl alcohol, followed by a water bath (with air-drying in between each step). In this manner, we remove excess resin, as well as any particulate matter left over from the evaporation process. The final step is a UV-cure, to ensure that no photopolymers remain active.
